Amazon Prime Day is just once a year. The annual sale is typically two days and held sometime in July, around the time of Amazon’s birthday, which is July 5. The event became so successful since its debut that the retailer launched a second members-only sale several years ago, and that sale is typically held in October. Last year, that event was called Prime Big Deal Days. While both are designed to reward Prime members, the assortment of deals is typically vastly different. 

Are Prime Day deals the same both days?

Amazon will release deals each day of the sale, guaranteeing there’s something new to shop every day. And while some sales will carry over, lasting 48 hours, many will sell out before the first day of the event has wrapped. Prices typically do not drop further on the second day, so if there’s something you’re eyeing, it’s best to get it while it’s still in stock. 

Are Prime Day deals only for Prime members?

As its name implies, Prime Day is a sale that rewards Prime members, meaning that many of the best Prime Day offers are exclusively for Prime members. But don’t fret! There are plenty of sales that are open to all shoppers plus, anyone can unlock access to all deals by signing up for a free 30-day trial of Prime.

Are Prime Day deals worth It?

Yes, Prime Day deals come with some of the steepest savings you’ll see all year, often beating Black Friday prices. Case in point: Apple AirPods Pro, which are going for their lowest price ever.
