Lindsay Kimble is a writer, reporter, and editor, with over a decade of experience working in the media industry.
She first joined PEOPLE in 2015, and has served in a variety of roles including Sports Editor, Senior News Editor and Director of Newsroom Operations. She is currently the Executive News Editor.
She has also served as the Content Director of Celebrity and Entertainment at POPSUGAR, and held roles at Wenner Media (Us Weekly and Rolling Stone). She's been nominated for the ASME NEXT Awards for Journalists Under 30.

Lindsay Kimble has worked at PEOPLE for over seven years, non-consecutively, as a writer, reporter and editor across content buckets, covering everything from the Super Bowl to the Olympics to the Met Gala.

In her role as Executive News Editor, she coordinates with all content verticals in executing coverage of the buzziest news stories every day and oversees the off-hours news teams.

She's been nominated for the ASME NEXT Awards for Journalists Under 30, and previously wrote for Us Weekly while on staff at Wenner Media. She also served as the Entertainment and Celebrity Content Director at POPSUGAR.

Lindsay Kimble graduated with a B.A. in Print and Online Journalism, Communications, and minors in Theater and Leadership, from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina.
