Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross Say They're 'Cool Parents' as They Hit Coachella — and Teen Son Bronx Confirms (Exclusive)

Ashlee Simpson Ross and Evan Ross are cool parents — just ask them!

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at ZOEasis in Indio, California on Saturday, the couple shared why they think they've earned the label.

"We're at Coachella, I think we're cool parents. We brought [son] Bronx and his friend here today," said Ashlee, 39, at the desert oasis party during Coachella weekend.

She pointed at Evan, 35, admitting, "He's probably cooler than me."

"I think we're cool parents," Evan affirmed.

The "Pieces of Me" singer then directed the question to her son Bronx Wentz, who was present for the interview.

"You are," said the 15-year-old, who had plans to see Tyler, the Creator's set that night, his mom revealed.

They're also cool enough to steal clothes from.

"We're all into vintage shopping," said Ashlee, pointing to Bronx, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. "Now we don't ever know whose vintage shirts are whose."

"I love a big men's vintage shirt, so I feel like when I find a cool one, it's not going to be [just] mine," she added.

Ashlee and Evan married in 2014 and share daughter Jagger, 8 and son Ziggy, 3.

The whole family was together for a recent spring break trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The L.O.V.E. singer shared a carousel of images from the getaway to Instagram on April 6.

"Cabo Spring Break pt 1," Ashlee captioned the set of images, featuring sweet moments like Ziggy sleeping on his mom's back or hanging out in his dad's lap with his older brother Bronx by their side.

"I love my family ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson commented on the post.
