I’m a 38DD Who Thought I Couldn’t Wear Strapless Bras — but This $15 Style Supports My Chest

As someone with large breasts, there are certain fashion realities I’ve come to face. It’s difficult to find button-down shirts that close without puckering, shopping for a well-fitting wrap dress is seemingly impossible, and supporting my 38DD chest with a wireless and strapless bra is completely out of the question. In my ongoing quest to find cute yet supportive bras that actually fit my 38DD chest, only a couple styles have truly fit the bill. The fabric is also seamless, so I can wear it under everything from silk dresses to cotton T-shirts with nary a hint of it peeking through. Rather than the uncomfortable underwire that accompanies most strapless bras and digs into the ribcage, this one has a ribbed bottom band that doesn’t poke, jab, or stab my skin. Plus, the bralette-like silhouette has a straight neckline, so it works with every top and dress in my closet. It comes in seven colors and sizes S–XL, which corresponds to a 30B–42C. As someone who typically wears a 38DD, I’ve found that the XL is a perfect fit. I currently own it in black and beige, and I have my eyes on pink, charcoal gray, and espresso brown, too.

What I love the most about this wireless bra, though, is its design. The cups are seamed and subtly ruched in the front to offer separation for my larger breasts. It feels like a sports bra, but my 38DD chest actually looks like two separate breasts, instead of one large uniboob.
